our COVID-19 conundrum

It matters now. What we say and what we do. For our kids are watching us; actually watching us.

For direction. For comfort.

We are all so confused.

It’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better. But it will get better. Not many people will die hopefully. It’s not a virus that will definitely overpower us — we just have to be prepared for it. Social distancing isn’t a joke. It’s serious.

Shutting down cities and schools is forcing the hand, in some sense, to social distancing because people aren’t listening. We have to social distance or this will take hold of this nation.

I have a job as a Special Educational Assistant, and a job as a Behavioral Assistant, and a job as an Uber Driver and non of them are letting me work or paying me right now. They know it’s not safe. It’s just simply not safe. The Oregon Public Schools were shut down one day into my new job.

This is tough as a nation. We are all set up to fail. The stock market is back to levels that we haven’t seen since Trump’s inauguration. Monday of this week in trading, the market went down the second most ever of any given day since the Great Depression. This shit is serious, guys. We will all be affected shortly.

Let’s all stay focused, prepared, positive, and informed.

I love you all.

Good afternoon.
